- Description: July 6 - 22, 2010 Personal Best Challenges - The Junior Lifeguard Club focuses on learning through a fun atmosphere for children 8 to 15 years. A coach will be there to help set and achieve individual and group goals. Areas that will be focused on will be: Swimming skills, Lifesaving skills and knowledge, Fitness, Leadership/teamwork, Community Education. The Junior Lifeguard club is not a pass or fail course. As you continue to enrol, you will gain experience and set new goals. It is a great program to bridge the gap between Red Cross swimming lessons and the Lifesaving Society programs. Cost: 50.00

- Host: Olds Municipal Library
- Description: The Olds Municipal Library will be hosting Two Focus groups to gather feedback about what programs residents in our community would like to see offered in Olds. If you are free on either of the below dates and would like to attend the Olds Library would like to hear from you. All participants will receive a free one year membership to the Olds Municipal Library as a Thank you for your input and interest. All focus groups will be held at the Olds Municipal Library temporary location, 4901 50 Avenue. Also on June 29th from 3 pm - 4 pm.
